So unstable

Im a fan from the magazine, but this last version of the app is hard read,this bug keeps closing the app, i tried to delete the app and reinstall, turn the iPad on and off, nothing helped! please do aNice and stable app.

Instable and else

It started fine, but as time passed by, after updates, if started to crash as well wont show me this month subscription. I wont intend to renew it in the near future, as it will expire pretty soon. The subject and reports made, as well pictures and analisys, are very good and I wish I could get the printed copy.

very poor

The app breaks down frequently!!! Not a pleasure to use it.... A lot of bugs have to be fixed. And even if the programm is working fine, it runs very slow. Advertaising links are not connected... it would be nice if one could just follow the link....

What happening?

It is not the same it was before

DO NOT PURCHASE-DOES NOT WORK-REFUNDS ARE NOT GIVEN !!!!

App does not work. When I notified their office, it took them 1 Week to send me an email telling me they have received my email (thats right, 1 week !!) and then another full week went by and then they send an email telling me they cant do anything to make my app work and they cant give me a refund on the $50 of magazines I purchased. 1 Star only because I cannot save review unless the review has at least 1 star.

Terrible!

First of all this App is not free. Once you download the free bit you still have to pay for the magazines! Secondly, it is full of bugs. Even after you pay for the magazines, it constantly quits on you automatically and very often the magazine that you have paid for refuses to load. Do not get this App until they have fixed these problems. You will save yourself a lot of aggravation.

Free?

Dont install this app if you expect to see any more than covers. Besides, I get the magazine at home so I already paid that, but now they are asking to have me pay twice? I travel for work and thought I could read on-the-go. No such luck. I guess the owners of "showboat" think that ticking otherwise happy clients off is a good way to pay for their own showboats.... Update: picture quality is horrible

Great idea, but needs work

This seems like such an awesome app when you first look at it. Who wouldnt want to be able to read through ShowBoats from their iPhone? I know I would! The only problem comes from the app asking for users to pay. For some users this is okay, but for those who are subscribers, this is unacceptable! And with the newest update the subscriber button went away completely... What ShowBoats should do is to include a special code in each magazine which the buyer (subscriber) could use to unlock a version on the app. This way the people who buy the magazine can have a version of it wherever they go, and there could be the possibility that more magazines would sell. This seems like it could become a great marketing strategy. Well that was my two cents. I hope somebody at ShowBoats listens because this app has a lot of future potential. Josh

Big Problem

Who wouldnt want show boats on the go but I paid for the november issue and when December/January came out it now says I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN!! What? Give me my issue back!!!!

I bought 2 issues 3 days ago and viewed them and now it says I have to buy them again???????????

Needs work

Could be a great app if it didnt crash constantly. Ill just buy the regular mag instead through zinio. App doesnt load the magazine, just stalls and quits.

Needs an update badly.

STILL not in newsstand? IOS 5s been out all fall. Ridiculous. The app itself could use some serious work too. I dont buy issues on here if I can avoid it for the above reasons, but the magazine itself is great.

Please fix...

I never taken the time to write a review with any of my 300+ purchased applications but Im writing this one. How did this make it past any level of QA? It worked the first time I installed it after I purchased a one-year subscription, and once I tried purchasing and downloading an older issue, the bottom fell out. Im embarrassed for the programming staff. Get this fixed.

Please fix the app. Cant download anything.

Where is it and who supports this...

I have never quite been so disappointed in an application yet I cannot truly say the application is bad. After purchasing a subscription directly from the SBI website and receiving a confirmation and some general registration info I have been completely unable to use the information I have received to view anything in the app thus I cannot put blame on the software directly. This is a wonderful and vibrant publication but someone is truly not doing their job. Any and all correspondence has gone unanswered and I am left with typing a gripemail review. Apple themselves should also monitor the performance of those that market through them. Someone please take the reins to this runaway and set it straight. As it stands right now I can only say this is completely ineffectual and absolutely unacceptable.

Works as advertised

This app works as described and the content is beautiful. I installed the app and had trouble pairing my print subscription with the app. I contacted Stonewash who responded with a solution within one day and the solution worked perfectly. Excellent customer response. If you like really large yachts, this is a great app.

Worst app !

Totally unusable, takes ages to render a single page, very slow and annoying startup! DONT BUY !

Poor app

I love the print version but the app is very cumbersome, slow and poorly designed. SN

SLOW very SLOW

It was so slow to load (Im on FIOS) that I didnt wait and deleted it.

WAIT FOR UPDATE

So slow it is not worth buying. Hopefully this will be fixed with an update soon.
